I got 6118 in the observatory C14 this past July... the log reads: (98x) Very elongated, faint; no central condensation; just an elongated fuzzy;

I seem to be stuck at 130. Need to get on the ball. I do enjoy O'Meara's Herschel 400 Observing Guide. Maybe I'll follow his month by month plan and get this completed in a year.

Not stuck no more. 161, and after midnight, too. I'd keep going but have duty at the site and planning for Texas 45. Sherry, my test case, completed the Spring list in one night. Excellent. Well on her way toward the bronze certificate but the same fab pin.

12/21/2017 At 247. How did that happen?

12/09/2017 At 197. Like working constellation by constellation.

Tracking my progress. At 188. Was having the astro list blues but 2018 WILL be better. Just need to plan a little better, get outside my forest covered yards, though if I keep up with Urban club, the objects have been coming to me in the little slit of open sky I have in my driveway. That, and when I get to the site, do my own observing. Stephen, I don't know how you do it giving classes and then your own observing. I'm exhausted after the TX45 but if I stay holed up in my own little universe, I can go all night.

Well, gee, Stephen. Now that you've gone and finished the 400 and consequently gotten your Master Observer award, who's going to keep this going?

Taking advantage of the window of good weather tomorrow evening. Have the C14 reserved and will chip away at the list. See you there.

267 down, 133 to go.

Chipping away, but the end is in sight. Just a Messier List left, so to speak. :D

110 to go.
