Hey guys... the weather forecast for this weekend looks ridiculously awesome... I'm going to the Dark Site tomorrow night. Anyone else headed that way?

Absolutely fantastic. Viewed several faint galaxies down to 14th magnitude in the Perseus cluster Abell 426, as well as another cluster over in Andromeda around NGC 910. Best view of the Horsehead nebula I've had yet. Was viewing objects WITHIN M33. It was a beautiful night.

Hi Stephen. What equipment did you use that allowed such good view of those objects?

Oh, gosh. I should've used that night for dark nebulae.

Hi Michel... I used my 16" Dobsonian telescope. The Horsehead required a H-Beta filter.
