The number of Steves in this club is a fantastic statistical anomaly. I don't even go by Steve actually, but I don't bother correcting people in HAS when they call me Steve because in this environment they can't hardly be expected to get that right LOL

I just recently re-read The Sparrow and Children of God by Mary Doria Russel. Excellent Sci-fi in which the science is unusually good and the writing is excellent. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but it tackles some deeper philosophical questions and the interaction of Science and Religion. As a bonus, the author is active on Facebook and regularly interacts with her fans. Very approachable. I definitely recommend these two books.
