Don't think color will matter much. I have a "cats perch" observing chair I really like. But it probably is heavier than what you looking at and functionally no better. But I do like it.

Thanks - I think I will go with designer white. Maybe less prone to trip over it

My wife bought me the white one for Father's Day. I wanted to take it back and replace it with the black one, but two members told me that they wished they had the white ones. Supposedly, they're easier to see (and avoid tripping over) in the dark.
