AT6RC collimation. Need help

Postby ajay-mandke » Mon Jan 21, 2019 12:25 pm

Hi,

I have a AT6RC that I purchased used from CloudyNights. I have not used it until now except for occasional view at planets (not ideal for planets) to get high magnification than my refractor.
I want to use RC for imaging in upcoming galaxy season, but I have noticed that my RC is out of collimation. I tried using cheshire EP and deep sky instruments collimation method (http://www.deepskyinstruments.com/truer ... er_1.0.pdf) but I think I made the collimation worse.

Can someone help me with any suggestions?
