Hello Everyone!

My name is Jay and I just recently joined the group. I'm very new to Astronomy, but have some basic knowledge of astrophysics from college. Watching Dr. Sagan as a child had me hooked on the wonders of the Universe! I look forward to the journey and exploration with y'all and wish to thank you for the opportunity.

Welcome, Jay. Yes, a lot of us grew up with Carl Sagan. Ray and I were lucky to see him one year when he was a featured speaker at a JCC Book Fair. We have a great speaker coming up Oct 4: Walt Kiefer will give a talk on "Apollo 11 at 50: The Legacy of 'One Small Step.'" Echoing Joe, hope you can make it!
