Notes: Another event commemorating the Apollo 11 moon landing.  This event kicks off the museum's exhibit called "Shooting the Moon: Photographs from the Museum's Collection 50 Years After Apollo 11," which includes works from Ansel Adams, Garry Winograd, and others.  Though not as big as the Discovery Green event, the museum anticipates 2,000 visitors throughout the day.

 

We will be setting up on the rooftop terrace of the Glassell School of Art, and Land, Sea, & Sky will be partnering with us with a few telescopes of their own at this event.  The website with all of the events that day is located here:
