*CLASS FULL* HAS Texas 45 Class in Observatory

** THE WINTER CLASS IS FULL. WATCH THE WEBSITE FOR THE SPRING CLASS. WINTER STUDENTS HAVE FIRST DIBS ON SPRING CLASS**

Let’s do the HAS Texas 45 together in the Observatory! Bring binoculars, a red flashlight, and a planisphere if you have them. The observatory will be open with two telescopes reserved. Make sure you reserve your spot. Space is limited. 

  • Sunset is 7:36 p.m. Bring snacks; we’ll have K-Cup coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available. Fyi, bananas help you stay awake.
  • Register at https://www.astronomyhouston.org/volunteer by clicking the event on the calendar, clicking Register, and adding your rsvp. Or send an email to renegedaly@gmail.com. Open to all members who have taken the online site orientation. Space is limited.
  • Don’t forget to reserve a bunk, HASBooking@astronomyhouston.org
  • Note: The online site orientation training is required before using the observatory with a trained telescope operator.
