Stop by on the way back from TSP and check out UBarU, an International Dark Sky Park in Mountain Home, Tx off I-10 west of Kerrville. UBarU is having a Star Party over Labor Day weekend. Registration is open now: http://ubaru.org/home/starParty
Directions from TSP traveling I-10 East:
Take I-10 exit 492, which is FM 479. Turn left (north) on FM 479 across the overpass, and turn right on Thrill Hill. Follow Thrill Hill to the end (2.5 miles) and follow the signs to UBarU in the wooded area.
