Star Party at Columbus - CANCELLED due to weather

WEATHER UPDATE - CANCELLED due to weather :-(

Prime Night is 20 December, and it might be the last chance to observe in 2014. We will have a club star party at our dark site at Columbus. All members who have taken the mandatory dark site orientation are welcome to attend. This will be my last club star party to organize before Stephen Jones takes over as Field Trip and Observing chairman for 2015.

If you need something to observe, try an Astronomical League program. The Messier and Double Star lists are easy ones to start.

If you haven't been to the dark site before, we'll meet at the Dairy Cone (836 Walnut Str.) in Columbus at 4:30 p.m. and drive together in a caravan.
